Pourquoi Tales

During our Traditionsl Literature Unit the students read many Pourquoi Tales.  The students enjoyed reading them so much we decided to write our own.  They have been working very hard writing their stories in Book Creator using the IPAD!  We can't wait for you to see the finished project.

Air Server

During math this week we got to use Air Server on our iPads!  This was so fun.  The students were able to share their thinking on the smartboard from their IPad.  We discovered that we could project all the iPads on the screen at once.  He are some picture of the students completing some division problems.

    Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!

   Looks like the pigeon really wants to drive the bus.

   We have been writing some opinion writing.

   We've been writing about if we want the pigeon to drive the bus or not to drive the bus.  I think the 

   pigeon shouldn't drive the bus.

January 9th

We had a great first week back at school.  

We completed the multiplication math unit and we will begin division next week.

Next week we will begin our opinion writing unit.  We will also begin our non-fiction unit of study.

The best of the week was today!  The kids were really excited to show their Patriots pride.

Holiday Party

The children had a fabulous time at the party on Friday!  Thank you room parents for all your hard work.

Surprise Before Vacation by Ella

The last day before Christmas vacation we had a fun supise! Max and Addie came to visit our class. We watched frozen sing-a-long videos on the smartboard. We colored, read books,  and played ring around the rosie. And when we went to music we got to sing Oh Christmas Tree. We had so much fun and I think they had fun too!
