Trey gave us an amazing explanation of how to regroup. He used the vocabulary words ones, tens, hundreds, and regrouping with his explanation.
In reading we have been studying realistic fiction. They have been learning a lot about characters and their traits. Last week we discussed the difference between round and flat characters.
When your child is reading at night ask them to tell you about the characters in their story. Maybe they can share one trait about the character in their book.
